We are a direct manufacturer, not a trading company. Our factory floor sits in the heart of the Shenzhen Bao'an precision sheet metal cluster — the densest concentration of fabrication capacity on the planet.
EMS Enclosure was founded in 2011 in the Bao'an district of Shenzhen, starting as a two-man sheet metal job shop with a single second-hand press brake. The founders — both mechanical engineers — saw an opportunity: electronics OEMs needed enclosures, and they needed them fast, accurate, and at export quality.
Over fifteen years, we reinvested every margin point into equipment. Today we operate two facilities (Bao'an headquarters and Dongguan branch) totaling 6,000 m² of shop floor. We run 20+ CNC machine tools, 10 press brakes, 14 welding stations, an in-house powder coating line, and a full QC lab.
We have shipped enclosures to over 30 countries. Our repeat-order rate exceeds 85% — the strongest metric we have.
Why Shenzhen? Because nowhere else on Earth has this density of sheet metal know-how, supply chain, and logistics in one postcode.
Within a 30-kilometer radius of our factory, you will find every supplier needed to build an enclosure: steel service centers, aluminum extrusion houses, die-casting foundries, plating shops, anodizing lines, silicone gasket extruders, fastener distributors, and packaging manufacturers. This density collapses lead times and logistics costs. We do not wait three days for a batch of rivets — they arrive by e-bike in twenty minutes.
Started as a small sheet metal job shop with one press brake and one shear. First customer: a local LED driver manufacturer who needed 500 aluminum housings.
Acquired our first 1.5 kW fiber laser cutter. Capacity tripled overnight. Began exporting directly to European industrial automation customers.
Certified to ISO 9001:2008 (upgraded to 9001:2015 in 2018). Formalized our QMS: incoming inspection, in-process SPC, final inspection, corrective action.
Second facility in Dongguan for volume production. Dedicated line for 19" rack enclosures running 500+ units/month for a single telecom customer.
Built an in-house IP rating verification lab: dunk tank, jet spray booth, dust chamber per IEC 60529. Waterproof enclosures became a core product line.
Added fiber laser welding (minimal HAZ, high-speed) and partner hard anodize line. Full suite of processes now under one QMS.
Shipped to our 30th country. More than 10,000 unique enclosure designs manufactured. The next one is yours.
