Sheet Metal Fabrication

From flat stock to formed, folded, and welded assembly. Our fabrication line handles 0.5 mm foil to 6.0 mm plate across steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, and brass.

Laser Cutting

High-power fiber laser for reflective metals (aluminum, copper, brass) and thick plate. CO2 laser for mild steel and stainless with superior edge quality. Both machines feature auto-focus cutting heads and capacitive height sensing.

  • Thickness range: 0.5–25 mm (mild steel), 0.5–12 mm (stainless), 0.5–8 mm (aluminum)
  • Positioning accuracy: ±0.03 mm; repeatability: ±0.02 mm
  • Nitrogen and oxygen assist gas for oxide-free edges
  • Automatic nesting software maximizes material utilization (>85%)

CNC Turret Punching

48-Station Turret30 Ton2500 × 1250 mm600 HPM

High-speed turret punch press with 48-tool auto-index station. Ideal for louvers, knockouts, vent patterns, and repetitive features where laser cutting would be slower. Auto-index tooling rotates to any angle.

  • Max sheet: 2500 × 1250 mm, repositioning for longer parts
  • Punch force: 30 metric tons; hit rate: 600 HPM (hits per minute)
  • Max thickness: 6 mm (mild steel), 3 mm (stainless)
  • Forming tools: louvers, countersinks, embosses, card guides, hinge knuckles
  • Combined punch + laser machines for single-setup complex parts

CNC Press Brake Bending

10-Axis CNCUp to 250T4000 mm bed±0.5°

Multi-axis CNC press brakes with automatic crowning compensation. The back-gauge positions each bend line to micron accuracy. Our programmers calculate bend allowance, K-factor, and springback compensation for each material grade.

  • Bending length: up to 4000 mm; tonnage: 40T / 100T / 160T / 250T
  • Angle accuracy: ±0.5°; repeatability: ±0.2°
  • 10-axis control: Y1/Y2 ram, X/R/Z back-gauge, crowning
  • Tooling library: 200+ punch/die sets for acute, offset, hemming, radius bends
  • Offline programming from 3D CAD; bend sequence simulation to prevent collisions

Welding & Assembly

TIGMIG/MAGSpotLaser WeldCertified Welders

Certified welders for structural, sealed, and cosmetic joints. TIG for aluminum and stainless (precision, cosmetic-grade welds). MIG for steel production welding. Resistance spot welding for sheet assemblies. Fiber laser welding for high-speed, low-distortion seams.

  • TIG (GTAW): aluminum, stainless, titanium — cosmetic & hermetic welds
  • MIG/MAG (GMAW): steel, galvanized — high deposition rate
  • Resistance spot: sheet-to-sheet lap joints, 0.5–3.0 mm stack
  • Fiber laser welding: minimal HAZ, no filler, high speed (2–5 m/min)
  • Post-weld: grinding, blending, stress-relief on request

Surface Finishing

Corrosion protection, aesthetics, and functional coatings. In-house powder coating line plus partner anodizing, electroplating, and passivation facilities within the Bao'an cluster — managed under our QMS.

Powder Coating

Electrostatic powder coating line with automated spray booths and batch convection curing oven. Any RAL color. Texture options: smooth, fine-texture, coarse-texture, hammer-tone, wrinkle. Suitable for steel, aluminum, and galvanized substrates.

  • Pretreatment: degrease → rinse → phosphate (steel) or chromate (aluminum) → rinse → dry
  • Application: electrostatic spray, manual touch-up for complex geometries
  • Cure: 180–200°C, 15–25 min (convection oven)
  • Film thickness: 60–120 µm (controlled via DFT gauge)
  • Testing: cross-hatch adhesion (ISO 2409), impact (ISO 6272), salt spray (ISO 9227, up to 1000 h)

Anodizing

Type II & IIIClear / Black / Color5–50 μmHard Anodize

Sulfuric acid anodizing (Type II, MIL-A-8625) for corrosion resistance and dyed decorative finishes. Hard anodizing (Type III) for wear surfaces. Partner facility with tank capacity for enclosures up to 2-meter length.

  • Type II (decorative): 5–25 µm, clear / black / gold / red / blue dye
  • Type III (hard): 25–50 µm, dark gray natural, 350–500 HV hardness
  • Chemical brightening + anodize for mirror-like cosmetic finish
  • Brushed grain (#4) + clear anodize for front panel applications
  • Sealing: nickel acetate (hot) or PTFE-impregnated for low friction

Electroplating & Conversion

ZnNiCrSnElectroless NiPassivation

Barrel, rack, and selective plating for fasteners, brackets, busbars, and enclosure components. Electroless nickel for uniform coverage on complex geometries. Passivation for stainless steel corrosion resistance.

  • Zinc (Zn): blue/white/yellow/black trivalent chromate, 8–25 µm, 72–200 h salt spray
  • Zinc-Nickel (Zn-Ni): 8–15 µm, 720+ h salt spray (automotive grade)
  • Electroless Nickel (EN): 5–25 µm, uniform thickness on internal bores, 500–900 HV as-plated
  • Tin (Sn): 3–15 µm for busbars and grounding components
  • Passivation: citric or nitric acid for SUS304/316L, per ASTM A967
  • Chromate conversion (Alodine/Iridite): MIL-DTL-5541 Type I/II for aluminum conductivity

Quality Control

ISO 9001:2015 certified QMS. Every enclosure is dimensionally inspected before it leaves the floor. Full documentation package available.

CMM Dimensional Inspection

±0.02 mm

Coordinate Measuring Machine (bridge-type, touch-probe + laser scanner) for first-article inspection and SPC sampling. Full 3D point cloud comparison to CAD model.

Coating Thickness Measurement

DFT ±1 µm

Digital coating thickness gauge (magnetic induction + eddy current). Cross-section microscopy for dispute resolution. Adhesion tested per ISO 2409 cross-hatch.

Salt Spray Testing

Up to 1000 h

Neutral salt spray (NSS) chamber per ISO 9227. Test panels or whole enclosures. Verification of zinc plating, powder coat edge coverage, and stainless passivation.

IP Rating Verification

IP65 · IP67 · IP68

In-house dunk tank for IP67/IP68 verification. Spray booth for IP65/IP66 jet testing per IEC 60529. Every waterproof enclosure batch is tested, not just first-article.
